Crepes & Haulin'

Since it was still Boxing Week, I went Downtown again to make up for my lack of shopping on Boxing Day. My cousin was getting her hair done at Chura, so we left for Downtown together and seperated at Robson but agreed to meet up with my mom at Metrotown later that afternoon.

Neither Xiu and I had any breakfast, and it was past 1PM when we arrived in Downtown (we woke up late, I took forever to do my make-up, my cousin took forever to get ready, and were still applying our lip gloss on the way there) so I wanted to take Xiu to Cafe Crepe on Robson for some crepes, since it's probably not as good in L.A. I went in and the hostess said they had no seating so I said we'd come back. So we proceeded to Starbucks to grab some Tazo tea, and went shopping on Robson. There was a shitload of people on Robson, because EVERY store was on sale.

I checked out FCUK in great detail, because it's fobby and I've always liked their edgy slogans. I was checking out this display table full of clutches and small bags, and I saw this pink polka dotted bag that was really adorable, and I reached for it to have a closer look. Just as my hands landed on the bag, this girl beside me screamed and yelled "IT'S MY BAG" in heavily Japanese-accented English. I blush, I jump back, apologize feverently, and starts laughing. The rightful owner of the bag started laughing too, and I asked her where she got her bag, and she said it was from AE. Luckily, AE was only two stores down, so I went in but the bag wasn't there. I guess it was from previous seasons?

Finally, on the way back to Cafe Crepe, I landed a pair of silver pumps. Well, not exactly silver, but... metallic gray? Haha. They go nicely with my blue Ports dress, and I can wear them for Theatre Night. Now I need a silver/metallic gray clutch! I've already checked BCBG, Betsey Johnson, and AX. Nothing seems to fit the bill! I guess I just need to look harder. I even checked Ports and asked their SA for recommendations but they said since I got my dress in Asia, they don't really know the specs. Oh well, the next Theatre Night is not for another month, I have a long time to look for a clutch.

I got some legwarmers so I can wear skirts now! Yay.

My mother got me Lululemon yoga pants because she thinks I can wear them to dance practice. I think she had a brain freeze. When did she EVER see ANYONE go to Poppin' dance practice in freaking spandex?I hate Lululemon spandex yoga pants or whatever they're actually called, every white-washed or white girl in my school has a pair. I hate what those girls wear, because they're so white trash. The white-washed Asian girls and the white girls falsely assume that they can have a higher status or whatever by wearing brands such as TNA and Lululemon, but in reality, they aren't even good brands for god sake. Do not pride yourself with $60 spandex pants for the sake of showing off. If you are really athletic or active or whatever, go ahead, but I still think Nike is better.

I hate those home-grown so-called Canadian brands who tries too damn hard to be A&F or Miss Sixty or G-Star.

P.S. Sorry about the lack of pictures, I'm too lazy to upload them to Blogger. I guess I'm spoiled by the convenient Facebook uploader.
