Pre-Xmas Haul

It's scary how much you can get done in one day. It really is.
This morning I woke up and called Nicole, turns out that she's going to go to Downtown to see Mike (Lam) during his shift at AX, which is after 7pm, so I woke up, got dressed and decided to go shopping alone. So, since I wasn't in a rush to meet anyone at a given time, I had more time to do my make-up. So, here's my virgin FOTD! What I used:
Face: Nothing
Eyes: MAC Liquidlast Eyeliner on top lashline
Almay Intense iColour (Purple) liner on waterline
L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara
Lips: Youngblood Lipgloss in "Delicious"

Pretty shitty FOTD. I didn't even use eyeshadow for god sake! I'm such a novice. That's why I'm determined to get some shadows tomorrow!

I guess what I wore today was more interesting. I guess.

What I wore: 2% Cashmere sweater w/ Skeletons (2% is the brand, not the percentage of cashmere), Fur-lined hoodie I got in Hong Kong (I think it's Arnold Palmer?), AE Jeans, ripped by myself, and Monokuro Boo furry slippers. No, I did not wear the slippers out shopping, I wore Arnold Palmer short boots.

Anyway, enough with the photo-whoring. Since Nicole blew me off, my mom offered to take me shopping. We went to Richmond to pick up some snacks for Xiu and I, for the holidays of course, and then went to Costco to pick up some groceries. Then, we rushed to Downtown to pick up Xiu and my baby cousin's presents. I ended up getting the Miss Sixty bag for Xiu in yellow, because the other colours were sold out. The yellow looks better than I thought, afterall, it's a cocker bag, so the bright colour doesn't seem too out of place. Also picked up that tweed (?!) dress for my baby cousin from Roots kids. It looks like something out of Gossip Girl, and I doubt if my baby cousin will ever get to wear a winter dress in L.A., ever.

Stopped by Daiso before we hit Downtown to pick up my much-needed make-up storage. Argh. It was such a pain trying to figure out the best way to store my make-up. In the end, I didn't get those art supply boxes my gf and Nicole has, I ended up getting this:

The stickers were my doing, of course. I can be so childishly fobby it's crazy. My make-up box is plastered in Jay Chou, Lee Junki, SuJu, TVSQ!, and Monokuro Boo. I still have more decorations to do, because I want everything I own to be FOBulous. Haha, no, actually, I'm a sticker-whore, and almost all of my storage boxes come from Sanrio or plastered in Asian stickers. As all of you can see, my label-whorism hasn't extended to make-up yet. Since I'm a novice, almost all of my cosmetic collection comes from a drugstore, except for: my Dior, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Youngblood, and The Face Shop lip glosses, Shiseido and Youngblood kohl eyeliners, and my MAC and Lise Watier liquid liners. I jacked a Lancome eye brush set from my mom, so I'm going to get some eyeshadows tomorrow!

Daiso is a lifesaver. My make-up storage box, plus the DIY compartments inside, in total cost $4CDN. I don't know what I'll do if I have to go to university in Mass. or Rhode Island, where there aren't even Asian food available, let alone huge Asian markets the size of Santa Anita mall. Therefore, I'm ruling out Harvard and Brown, because I can't live without my Asian-ness and fobby needs. Right now I'm keen on USC, if I have to go to a university in the US of A.

Since Kishi is grounded for the weekend, my gf and I will hang out tomorrow. Maybe being the artist that she is, she can give me some insight on eyeshadow colours.

Trojans all the way. I'm a HUGE fan. Even though that school is all about who you know and how much money you have, I love their school spirited-ness. You'll def have access to a lot of Asian food!
